Program aligned to best practices of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in response to COVID-19
Rock Island, Ill. (January 15, 2021) – Jumer’s Casino & Hotel is set to reopen both its casino and hotel at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, after Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced casinos in the state can reopen at 25 percent capacity because of improved COVID-19 conditions within the region.
The casino, which has been closed since Nov. 20., will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily with a reduced number of slots and table games, per the state’s guidelines. The Lucky North Club will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Jumer’s continues its comprehensive Play It Safe™ program featuring health and safety standards aimed at helping keep guests and employees safe while slowing the spread of COVID-19. The program encompasses the casino’s new operating procedures, which have been reengineered to minimize contact risk, and includes bolstered hygiene protocols to meet or exceed best-practice guidelines of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“We are excited and well-prepared to welcome back our patrons for a great time at Jumer’s with our Play It Safe program in place,” said Travis Hankins, general manager of Jumer’s Casino & Hotel.
